We Are The Ones: Black Women Rising.
We built our own table. Now we’re inviting you to join us.

About WATO :|:
WATO — We Are The Ones — was born from my own story.
A journey through workplace trauma, systemic inequity, and the decision to stop waiting for someone else to fix what was broken.
This isn’t a program. It isn’t a charity. It is a movement. And it is deeply personal.
What started as my fight to reclaim my own power has grown into a platform, a marketplace, and a community for Black women who are done being overlooked and ready to build what comes next.

SISTERHOOD.
Flip The Table 4 Equity (FTT4E) is not just a story — it’s a movement, an ongoing commitment to advocacy in action.
What started as my personal fight for justice has grown into a platform that disrupts systemic inequity and invites others to reclaim their power.FTT4E remains a space where I will continue exploring and executing innovative, community-centered opportunities to dismantle inequitable systems.

WATO’s Ripple Effect
EMPOWERMENT.
At WATO, we know that when one Black woman finds her footing, it doesn’t stop there.
It moves through her family, her network, her community. Every sister we support becomes part of something larger than a single moment of help. She carries it forward. And those ripples reach places we never could on our own. That is the work. That is what we are building.
“WATO is deeply personal to me — born from my own experience and the strength I’ve witnessed in so many Black women. We don’t need to wait for permission to thrive. We are building our own table. And every woman who joins us helps make it stronger.”
Luckie Daniels :|: Flip The Table 4 Equity.

“Love this concept, many of us need mutual aid and solidarity, and also practice addressing crisis and issues collectively . . . a hedge against the individualism and capitalism that dominates our economy and technology, and by extension our culture practice.”

We Are Not Going Back: My Personal Call to Action
As we approach what feels like one of the most consequential presidential elections in modern history, I find myself reflecting on my “why.” Why I’ve dedicated my life to advocating for Black and Brown women. Why I created We Are The Ones (WATO). Why the words We Are Not Going Back feel more urgent and personal than ever…
